Rachel made a big step today! They were able to take her feeding tube out which means that she is consistently getting enough nutrients and calories. Rach is going to be so much more comfortable for her and now she can hit some of those cravings she has been having. She is still set for surgery sometime today or tomorrow. This will be her last big surgery! The only ones left will be the smaller less invasive just to get the temporary hardware out.
Haven't read this in a few days and was pleasantly surprised with her progress. Once again, thanks for keeping us posted.
