Rach is just about to head out for her own Adventure Monday- they will be taking her to the OR here shortly to do the procedure for her left humerus (upper arm). She will have a plate and a screw or 2 to set it permanently. She woke up a bit before heading down and I was able to talk to her a min, told her I'd be back after her surgery she said "Thanks, I'll be right here". We're still not sure how much she will remember or when she will remember one day to the next, but it sure is nice having her recognize family and friends who have come to support her.
Thank you Michelle for posting these updates. Rach is on our minds constantly and we are grateful to know how she is doing. We look forward to paying her a visit soon.

ReplyDeleteThank you for positing this. I would love to come visit Rach soon, but I am sure everyone wants to see her and I don't want to overwhelm her. Can you please tell her that I am thinking of her, praying for her and will come visit soon. Also, I would love to talk to you and Viv about putting together some fundraisers for Rach. Would love to finally meet you too!
