Saturday
We hope that everyone had a happy and safe Christmas, enjoying all the family time! Rachel and family had a good day, pretty relaxing and full of smiles and happy thoughts from friends and family. Rachel had a good day today- she was awake for quite a while just chatting away. The Docs have lowered her pain-killers a bit so she is a bit more with us. It is nice to hear crackin' some jokes and checking up on people. We're hoping her progress will continue to go up!

It's so good to hear that she's doing better. It took me awhile to figure out why her name was so familiar and then someone mentioned her while I was in Safeway. Have always enjoyed having her as my cashier and will look forward to her being there again.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Rachel is doing much better. My husband & I were heading to the airport in Seattle and came up to the accident that had just accured maybe 5 minutes prior. We stopped to see if we could help and saw this wonderful man, Officer Chris talking to her and touching her face. He was telling her to hold on, help was on the way and would not leave her side. The fireman arrived shortly after and they were also wery gentle when they removed her from the car. We stayed until she was safely in the ambulance. I prayed for her for several days that she would fight through this terrible accident. And from the sounds of her progress, she is truly a fighter. I wish you all the best.

ReplyDeleteKim, I truely believe you and your Husband were just '2' of many Angels that day. Officer/Angel Chris too :)
Thanks for posting and thanks !!! so much for being there.
So glad to know she is more alert now and able to talk with her family and friends. That is what I wanted to hear. Keep up the "fight" Rachel!
